This pipe utilized a chase which is about 12 x 18 x 16ft high so there s plenty of room to run conduit for future electrical circuits or low voltage runs from the basement to attic if needed down the road.

On the first floor i also cut a hole in the wall to fish the run from the 2nd floor and then ran that to the basement.
Then i ran my wiring bundles from the attic down to the 2nd floor.
I only have the basic idea that it s going to run inside walls and can be used in the future for running wires from basement to each floor.
On the second floor wall i cut reasonable size hole in the wall which i used to gain access to allow me to cut the hole from the 2nd floor to 1st floor.
You can get different sizes of pvc and you can run 2 3 lines in one run.
If you have a rigid line then you can open up one wall on second floor to drill to attic and first and then drill up to first from basement.
